About Susie & Her Trip:
I was born in Hollywood and am going to the land of Bollywood… though I love to dance I am going to serve the wonderful people of India (and I still might dance some too). I am going with a team from my church, The Garden www.thegardenlb.org to serve with an amazing organization in India called Harvest India. They reach many people through practical needs and love. They care for orphans, have a mercy ministry giving love to the least in the nation, share Jesus through churches all over India, and provide education to the young and old. One of the things they have asked us to do is put on a Conference for all the Pastors. There are over 500 pastors spread out, so some of the money I need to raise is to get them and their families to the Conference in Tenali, which is where my team will be based. These pastors give of their lives to love and serve those around them; they often have almost nothing and are unable to even give gifts to the children this Christmas. What a gift we can give to allow them to travel and be served by us with the wives and children in February. The Conference will be a few of the days we are there and the others will be filled helping with anything they need us to. That might be working with the orphans, visiting and helping at the leper colonies, helping prepare for events or everyday things they need… we are open to anything they need so as to be a support in the best way we can while there.
We leave on Feb. 21st from LA and return March 2nd. I need to raise $3500, about $1200 of that goes to the Pastors, the rest is the plane ticket, visas, food and a bed. I am sending you this to invite you to be a part of this wonderful ministry to the lowest of the low in the world. Come on board with my team through prayer and giving. All gifts are tax deductible though there is not an online option right now. You can makes checks payable to The Garden and either give to me or send directly to the church at P.O.
